Il y a fort longtemps, ils ont diffusé un vieux film des années 50 sur le câble, avec Joan Collins qui raconte l'histoire du Pharaon Khéops qui construit sa pyramide.
Joan Collins jouait le rôle d'une princesse inconnue, qui arrive au Palais. Je me rappelle de la fin, elle ne connaîtra jamais le secret du trésor, quelque chose comme ça. Je cherche le titre du film, comment il s'appelle ?.

je l'ai vu à sa sortie quand j'avais 9 ans j'en ai encore le souvenir  (surtout de la fin dans la pyramide ...brrrr) chaque fois que je le revois, pour moi une merveille malgrè les erreurs anachroniques (Khéops arrivant à dos de dromadaire, introduit seulement presque 2000 ans plus tard!). Et la méthode de fermeture de la pyramide avec le sable me fait toujours m'interroger.

Toujours dans le film, je me souviens d'un autre passage, avant ou dans le couloir de la pyramide, les porteurs(?) avaient tous la langue coupée pour ne pas révéler à l'esclave l'endroit où se cachait le trésor.

Dommage que ce genre de techniques ne soit plus exploitable : tout le monde ou presque sait écrire !

But as the years roll by and the work shows no signs of abating, the Pharaoh begins relying upon forced labor from lands he has conquered. He also plunders the coffers of his neighboring countries. Cyprus can't pony up the necessary gold, so the country sends luscious Joan Collins (complete with a jewel in her navel) as a "present" for the Pharaoh. Fascinated by the spitfire Collins, the Pharaoh makes her his second wife. What he doesn't know is that Collins is just as much a predator as she would be in the TV series Dynasty. Hoping to gain all of the Pharaoh's kingdom and the riches therein, she stage-manages her husband's death. After the funeral procession, the Pharaoh is sealed in his tomb by a series of sand-operated weights, levers and pulleys (this speculation as to how the Pyramids were closed is the most fascinating part of the film).
